How do I sign up? 

To sign up, simply continue to checkout and select Afterpay as your payment option, or visit [Afterpay](https://portal.afterpay.com/login-email) to create an account.

Who can use Afterpay? 

Any New Zealand resident over 18 with a valid debit or credit card can use Afterpay.

How much can I spend with Afterpay? 

Afterpay’s automated system considers several factors when determining your spending limit. Generally, the longer you’ve been an Afterpay customer and the more orders you’ve successfully repaid, the more you’ll be able to spend. While spending limits may be lower for new customers (within the first six weeks), the approval process is designed to help Afterpay responsibly offer a completely free service. Over time, as you continue to repay on time, your spending limit may increase.

How do I return my order? 

Simply return your items to Ava Rose Jewellery as usual. Our team will process your refund through the Afterpay platform, crediting the funds to your nominated debit or credit card. Your payment schedule will be adjusted or canceled as necessary.

Is there anything else I should know? 

If a payment isn’t made by the due date and the automatic payment fails, you have until 11 pm (AEDT in summer and AEST in winter) the following day to make the payment. If the payment is not made by then, a late fee of $10 will apply, with an additional $7 fee if not paid within 7 days (as stated in the Afterpay Terms).

Can I use Afterpay on Sale items? 

Yes, you can use Afterpay on sale items. However, please note that if you wish to return a sale item, it is only eligible for store credit. You will need to continue making your Afterpay payments for the item over the duration of the four fortnightly payments.

What if the item is over $1000? 

To be eligible for Afterpay, the total cost of the purchase cannot exceed $1000. Please note that Afterpay purchases made in-store can only be returned for a store credit or exchange and are not eligible for a refund.
